ReedPop, the parent company of New York Comic Con, just announced when tickets will go on sale for the 2026 show, which marks 20 years of NYCC. They also revealed that New York Comic Con 2026 will feature Coney Island as its theme, leaning into New York iconography. 

Tickets for the convention, which will be held at the Javits Center in New York City on October 8-11, 2026, will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, June 24. ReedPop’s “Popverse Superfans” can get an early start on June 3, and fans who rolled over their Fan Verification profiles can buy starting on Sunday, June 14. 

“20 years of New York Comic Con is not only an incredible milestone; it’s a testament to the passion and joy of our pop culture community,” said Kristina Rogers, VP of ReedPop, Star Wars Celebration and US Comics Portfolio, in a statement. “When thinking about how we wanted to mark our anniversary this year, we knew that community, wonder, and the lasting memories we’ve built together should be central to the celebration, and there’s no better partner to bring the spirit of embracing shared passions to life than Coney Island. We can’t wait to welcome our fans home to NYCC once again in October as we celebrate the legacies of two pillars of the NYC community while looking ahead to what’s next.” 

“Coney Island and New York Comic Con are two of New York’s biggest cultural icons that are both centered around fostering community and creating moments that become memories,” said Adam Rinn, Coney Island USA’s Artistic Director. “We are thrilled to partner together this year to celebrate NYCC’s 20th anniversary both on the boardwalk and at the Javits Center.”

As part of the partnership, New York Comic Con will be a sponsor of the 44th Annual Coney Island Mermaid Parade, which is set to take place on June 20, where fans will have a chance to pick up NYCC merch. Coney Island’s famed Circus Sideshow will also have a presence at NYCC, hostinga variety show on Thursday, October 8. Performances will also run throughout the whole weekend, and the sideshow will also provide entertainment during the Cosplay Crown Championship on Saturday, October 10. 

Per the announcement, additional details around the partnership will be unveiled in the months to come, including a Coney Island-inspired merch collaboration and onsite programming.
